About Me
Hi, I'm David — a self-taught developer and senior tech professional based in Southern California. By day, I work at Zillow Group, where I've spent 15+ years in technical support and client relations. I currently serve as a Senior Partner Support Consultant and PS Content Focal — maintaining internal documentation, improving SOPs, and keeping the team's knowledge base running smoothly. I've worn many hats in my time at Zillow; this is just my current one.
Outside of work, I build things for the web mostly because I can't stop having ideas. My projects live at the intersection of utility and curiosity: if something annoys me enough, I'll probably end up writing a tool to fix it. Over time, that's turned into browser extensions, Discord plugins, and small web apps I actually use day-to-day.
I work solo on all my projects, which means I wear every hat: design, development, testing, debugging at midnight, and the occasional existential crisis over a semicolon. It keeps things interesting.
Outside of what I do with Zillow and my side projects, you can find me watching Angels, Ducks, and LA Rams games or F1 races. I enjoy watching TV and am a rabid cinephile — you can find my reviews on Letterboxd — and I write about tech and whatever else is on my mind on Medium and Substack. You'll also either find me in Azeroth, playing a random game on Steam, or spending time with my wife, two daughters, and three pupperonis.
